How to Not Get Sick of Healthy Choices

Texture and flavor. Two of the biggest components of food.
Personally, I love healthy and simple whole foods but many grow tired of eating the same thing every day. I wanted to share some tips that even keep things interesting for me.
1. Change the texture of your meat.
Chicken or turkey? How about chicken breasts, ground chicken, shredded chicken, turkey breasts, ground turkey, turkey patties, turkey meatballs, turkey sausage? See how different all those are? That's the simplest fix!
2. Change the texture of your vegetables.
With sweet potatoes you can do mashed, baked, or baked fries. With other veggies like zucchini you can have it sliced, grated, or even make it into "Zu-ddles". Broccoli you can have steamed or even try broccoli slaw (a great volume food).

3. Change your seasonings.
Do you know how many Mrs. Dash Seasonings there are? Oh my heavens. Simply change up your seasonings or mix them to create your own unique combo.

4. Spice it up!
Salsa and Pico-De-Gallo. Salsa chicken is one of my favorite macro-friendly and easy recipes. Take some chicken and your favorite salsa throw it into the crock-pot and cook it until falls apart. So GOOD! And there are a million different salsas.
5. Utilize your protein powders.
Sick of the same bowl of steel cut oats, oats, or Greek yogurt? Simply add some of your protein powder to any of them for a whole new dish. Birthday cake oatmeal for breakfast? Heck yes!
6. Stir Fry??
Ready for a game changer? Coconut Aminos. Truly, this baby is a God send! A substitute for soy sauce that is soy-free, gluten- free and super low in sodium this sauce is sure to please anyone as it is packed with flavor. (And no it doesn't taste like coconut)

7. Mix it up!
Don't be afraid to let your food touch. If you were going to have chicken, rice, and broccoli go ahead and make it a bowl. Heck, make your own Chipotle Bowl at home.
I hope this helped you all! Be sure to leave comments on how you get creative :) Have a great guys!
