Good Morning my Sweet, Friends! Happy Sunday!
Excitingly enough, I will be going to Destin, Florida, at the end of July and I am SO excited. I have never been to any beach on the East Coast and I can't wait to see what it is like!
However, we have been bulking the past 4 months... and with bulking we all tend to put on some fat. Which I am totally ok with. Got to make those gains! But.. its time to say goodbye to bulking season and hello to summer shredding! Which means... carb cycling, or low-carb and high-carb days.
Here is what I picked up at the grocery store this week:
Water
Creamer
Trail mix
Rice Cakes
Baggies
Greek Yogurt
Eggs
Watermelon
Green beans
Asparagus
Bananas
Potatoes
Apple-wood Chicken Sausage
Chicken Breast Tenders
Power Crunch Bars
Ranch Seasoning
So, how do we turn that, into this?

Well, its probably one of the easiest meal preps ever with less carbs! My meals will be:
Breakfast: Egg whites and sausage
Snack: Fruit and protein bar or trail mix
Lunch: Ranch-chicken and asparagus
Dinner: Ground turkey, green beans, and a little bit of potatoes
How You Do It:
Cook the turkey to your preference. I seasoned it with olive oil, garlic, and various garlic seasonings.
Season your chicken. In a bowl, I placed one pound at a time of chicken and two spoonfuls of ranch seasoning and tossed them gently. I put my pan on high heat with some olive oil and placed the chicken in the oil. I seared the chicken on both sides to be golden brown. Then reduced the heat and covered it with a lid.
I placed my asparagus in the microwave, according to the directions, and while that was cooking I cut up my watermelon and potatoes.
Then I boiled my potatoes for 20 minutes and drained the water once the were done.
Finally, I weighed and portioned everything out. Done! So, so easy! And little clean up.
That's all folks! I hope you have a blessed week!
