Hello My Sweet Friends!
It is time for a beauty related post... how I keep my teeth white!
For years, I have been so blessed to receive compliments on my smile. I get the "Your Teeth Are So White!" comment fairly often with the "How do you get your teeth so white?" question following after.

Today I am going to reveal that to you.
First of all, I must say that I get great teeth from my dad's side of the family so genetics does play a role in it. I thank God everyday for that genetic pass, I mean come on I've got double-jointed elbows and flat feet... you can't have it all folks. With that being said, my teeth stay pretty white on their own considering the amount of coffee and tea I drink. But regardless there are some things I do to keep them white :)
#1. Drink with a straw.
Everything. Coffee. Tea. Pre-workout. Smoothies. Anything that might stain your teeth use a straw!

#2. Brush your teeth more than 2 times a day.
I'm the girl who always has a toothbrush and toothpaste in my bag. I brush my teeth after everything. Mostly because I can't stand the taste of anything lingering on my palette except for mint. Which leads me to...
#3 Chew Gum.
I'm an addict I'll admit it. I'm not truly convinced that chewing gum is all that good for you or your teeth but I haven't had any ill effects yet :) checkmate.
#4 Floss!
Please for the love of all that is good and holy, floss your teeth. You want a "wow" smile? Floss! It makes a huge difference I promise you! No one wants to see plaque on your teeth or in between your teeth.
I like to use this every night before I go to bed to help keep my teeth white in between whitening sessions. It really does make a difference and it doesn't burn what so ever.
These are the best thing I have found to whiten teeth. I used to use the trays with the gel which was messy and not comfortable. Crest has come a long way with making their strips stick to your teeth in place, so much so, I can drink water while wearing them. (When they first came out years ago they used to slide around but not anymore!) I don't use these very often maybe once a month or before a special event. I like to leave them on for 30 minutes and no longer than that because my teeth are very sensitive. Pro tip: these are usually cheapest at Sam's or Costco.
And that is it. No complicated DIY just staying mindful. Let me know if you have any questions!
